Proper start-up and commissioning are important steps in helping ensure that Aermec equipment operates safely, efficiently, and in accordance with the project requirements.
The Aermec North America After-Sales Department works with contractors, service technicians, commissioning agents, engineers, representatives, and building operators throughout the start-up process. Our objective is to confirm that the equipment has been installed correctly, that the required operating conditions are available, and that the unit is ready to be placed into service.
Start-up support may include a review of the installation, electrical connections, hydronic conditions, control settings, sensors, safeties, communication, and overall unit operation.
Depending on the equipment and project requirements, support may be provided remotely or on site by Aermec personnel or an authorized service provider.
Before start-up can be scheduled, the installation should be substantially complete and the required utilities, water flow, electrical power, controls, and communication connections should be available.
Our team can assist during the commissioning process by reviewing unit operation, control sequences, alarms, setpoints, operating data, and communication with the building management system.
We can also work with the project commissioning team to help verify that the equipment is operating in accordance with the approved sequence of operation and project specifications.
