AERMEC equipment is designed to operate as part of a complete and properly engineered system. Performance, stability, and reliability are directly dependent on system design, installation, and commissioning.
Stable water flow, sufficient system volume, proper air elimination, correct electrical supply, and an appropriate control strategy are all fundamental requirements. When these conditions are not met, the unit may not perform as intended, regardless of its condition.
All equipment must be installed and commissioned in accordance with AERMEC guidelines. This includes completion of the Pre-Startup (Hydronic Verification) Form to confirm system readiness, followed by the Startup Form to document operating conditions at the time of commissioning.
Startup is intended to validate a fully operational system. It is not a substitute for installation completion or system correction. Operating equipment on a partially completed or unverified system may result in unstable operation and incomplete commissioning.
Units are selected to operate within defined conditions, including water temperatures, ambient conditions, and flow rates.
Operation outside of these conditions may be possible in certain cases but can result in reduced capacity, unstable control behavior, or increased frequency of alarms. Continuous operation outside recommended conditions is not advised unless reviewed and confirmed.
AERMEC units are equipped with onboard controls that manage internal capacity and operation. External systems, such as a building management system (BMS), are intended to provide high-level commands such as enable/disable and setpoint adjustments within acceptable limits.
Improper control strategies, conflicting signals, or attempts to override internal logic may lead to unstable operation and reduced performance.
Proper operation depends on consistent flow and predictable system behavior. The unit requires stable entering water conditions to regulate capacity effectively.
Systems with insufficient water volume, fluctuating flow, or unstable temperatures may experience difficulty maintaining control. In applications involving simultaneous heating and cooling, both loops must be fully operational, with adequate flow and volume on each side. Imbalances between loops can lead to instability or improper mode operation.
Electrical supply must meet unit specifications at all times. Voltage must remain within acceptable limits, and phase balance must be maintained.
Improper electrical conditions may result in faults, reduced component life, or equipment damage. Electrical verification is required prior to startup and should be maintained throughout operation.
Accurate documentation is required for both support and warranty evaluation. This includes startup documentation, service reports, and recorded operating conditions.
Without complete information, it is not possible to properly assess system performance or determine the cause of an issue. Incomplete documentation may delay support or warranty review.
Warranty evaluation is based on verified installation, proper commissioning, and documented operation within acceptable conditions. Issues related to system design, installation deficiencies, or operation outside recommended parameters may impact warranty consideration.
Installation, startup, and service must be performed by qualified personnel with appropriate knowledge of hydronic systems, refrigeration equipment, and electrical systems.
Improper handling or operation may result in equipment damage or unsafe conditions.
AERMEC support is intended to assist with equipment operation within properly installed and commissioned systems.
Ensuring system readiness and stability prior to requesting support allows for more efficient diagnosis and resolution, and helps maintain long-term system performance.
