This past month, Aermec’s Director of North American Sales, Anthony Barbiero, and Regional Sales Manager for the US & Canada, Benjamin Moore, took a trip to Chicago to attend ASHRAE’s 2025 Building Decarbonization Conference. Together, along with Aermec’s Export Area Manager, Luca Leardini, who flew all the way from Company headquarters in Italy, they had the opportunity to deliver a bespoke presentation on the Company’s use of air source heat pumps in new construction projects, spread the word about Aermec’s broader work in the heat pump market, and liaise with and learn from key figures within the building decarbonization industry.
Their presentation, titled Scaling Decarbonized Buildings with Air Source Heat Pumps in New Construction, provided attendees with:
- An overview of Aermec’s mission of energy efficiency, its presence and production capabilities in North America, and its testing processes.
- Key details and advantages of its various heat pump offerings to improve building decarbonization
- The encouraging results and findings from several Company case studies on the use of its technology within buildings in major cities in the United States and Canada, including New York City, Boston, Vancouver, Toronto, and more
In addition to their presentation, Barbiero, Moore, and Leardini had the chance to hold more personalized discussions with many of the over-400 conference attendees at Aermec’s sponsored booth, which saw heavy foot traffic throughout the conference. There, they provided overviews of the Company’s work, detailed the strategic advantages of its heat pump offerings to interested parties, and responded to inquiries from curious industry professionals.
The three returned from their trip with new connections, knowledge, and enthusiasm to further Aermec’s mission to improve energy efficiency through the expanded proliferation of heat pump technology in both new and existing buildings.
